Terms and Conditions
You can shop as a guest or sign up for an account. If you choose to shop as a guest we still require your name, address and contact details if you make a purchase but we will not contact you for any other purpose than information relating to your order. If you choose to have an account, it is assumed that you give your permission for us to contact you occasionally about offers that may be of interest, or new products. We do not share your contact details with third parties for any other promotion or advertising. Please click here to read about cookies
Completion of order and purchase of goods.
You [the customer] will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions upon completion of your purchase.
Your statutory rights according to UK law are not affected: all transactions will be governed by UK law.
Warmwell Saddlery [the seller] will aim to complete and dispatch orders within 8 working days. If goods are not in stock and it is unlikely that we will be able to complete the order within this time, customers will be notified accordingly and given a revised dispatch time, or the option to cancel the order. In the event of the latter, a full refund will be made.
If orders are required urgently, please let us know. Next day deliveries are sometimes required and if we can – we will !
Goods will not be dispatched until full payment has been received.
Payments can be made using using the following methods:
Card payments by telephone: please use the bank transfer option when placing your order and call the shop with your card details. 01305 852270
Bank transfer payments are accepted: goods will be dispatched as soon as payment has been made and cleared. We will need your bank details to issue a refund, should this be necessary. If you are not happy to provide your bank details, please do not pay by bank transfer.
Cheque. No goods will be dispatched until the cheque has cleared.
Prices are in UK Stirling and subject to change.
Tax at the present UK rate is included in the purchase price for all taxable items. Tax will not be added to exempt goods but our system will still split pricing as though vat has been charged: this is just the way our system is set-up.
Delivery charges are stated at time of order completion and vary according to location and country. If prices are not listed for your country, please contact us. We reserve the right to amend delivery charges according to package size, weight and delivery location. You will be notified in the event of any increase in delivery pricing and may cancel if you are not happy with the increased charge. A full refund will be given in such circumstances: please refer to postage and packing [below] for more information.
Unless advised of an out of stock item, all UK deliveries should have been received with 14 days. Customers should get in touch if they have not received goods within this time period. Times vary for deliveries outside the UK.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order without reason and in such circumstances will give a full refund.
We do not keep your credit card details on record. Card payments can be made by telephoning the shop or via PayPal: no written [or any form of card record] is maintained by Warmwell Saddlery. In the event of any problems or queries, please contact Warmwell Saddlery:
You are responsible for the security of your password and account details and Warmwell Saddlery accepts no liability for any breeches in security that may lead to any attack on you, your personal data, computer system or finances. Please keep your account details up-to-date and ensure a secure password.
If you wish to close your account and to be removed from our records, please notify us accordingly.
We do not share your details with third parties, other than those involved with payment processing, deliveries and associated with website display (as described in our cookies policy). The information you give is for the use of Warmwell Saddlery only.
If you are a local business and have an account with us, our payment terms are strictly 28 days from date of invoice.
We make every effort to ensure goods are dispatched as requested and in good condition but sometimes, things go wrong. Just in case there’s a problem, an item doesn’t fit, or goods get damaged in transit, please read our returns policy below and go to our returns page: we’ll do everything we can to sort the problem as quickly as possible.
- If goods are damaged when they arrive, we must receive notification within 24 hours. Please telephone 01305 852270 during shop hours, use the contact form, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Once received, the customer is responsible for the goods and liable for any damage or loss whilst in their care.
- If an item is not suitable, I.e wrong size or colour, we will refund the cost of returned items but not the postage. The customer will also be liable for the cost of return postage.
- Items must be returned in good condition, fit for re-sale and within 14 days. Please remove packaging carefully. We reserve the right to deduct 10% from the refund if packaging is badly damaged, or goods are returned without the original packaging.
- Customers are advised to obtain proof of postage, to do ‘signed for’ postage and ensure the cost covers the value of the items being returned.
- Refunds will not be made for returned goods lost or damaged in transit.
- For damaged goods Warmwell Saddlery will refund the customer, including postage, once the item has been returned: this does not include incorrect size or colour but specifically relates to actual damage I.e. during transit.
No purchase is necessary to enter our competitions.
For social media competitions, entrants are required to ‘like’ and ‘share’ the competition post.
Our social media competitions run for approximately 1 month.
When the competition ends, winners will be notified via a social media post, or if this is not possible, by email, text, or telephone.
No cash alternative is available, the prize is as stated.
If a voucher is offered as a prize, the purchase must equal, or exceed the value of the voucher. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the end of the competition.
We do not share personal details with third parties, the competitions are for the promotion of Warmwell Saddlery and/or Equestrian Dorset.
Only one entry per person.
We will retain prizes for 2 weeks after the competition has closed. After this time, the prize will return to stock for resale. Please make sure you collect your prize within this time period.
Prizes can be posted but (excluding vouchers) the winner will be asked to cover the cost of postage.

Postage and Packing
Please contact us for delivery outside of the UK, Ireland, Isle Of man and Isle Of White. If possible, we will send to other countries, please contact us for pricing.
We reserve the right to amend delivery charges. If this is necessary, you will be notified and given the opportunity to cancel your order. We will give a full refund if you are not happy with the increased charge.

Coupons, Offers and Discounts
Coupons, offers and discounts will not be applied to the following categories:
Sale items or promotional goods.
We offer a 10% discount to all Dorset based riding clubs on proof of membership.
A 10% discount is also offered to owners of local equestrian businesses.
The token is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
When used in the shop, the gift token can be used as full or part payment for goods.
No change will be given. The token is for the purchase of goods only. Any remaining balance can be used as a credit towards goods purchased at a later date (applies to shop purchases only) as long as the full value is used before the stated expiry date.
Goods purchased on line must equal or exceed the value of the voucher: postage is not inclusive but an additional cost.
